Road Tripping

The Wednesday after I graduated I set out on a road trip to a fabulous 1866 event! We traveled to an unknown little hole in the middle of Missouri to live life for 4 days in Grey Summit, Mo. The event held at Boonesfield village was amazing. The four days of fun ended too soon. I met so many new people that I can't wait to see again at the September event.
The Monday after was filled with touring the treasures from the Steamboat Arabia that sank in 1856 along with its 200 tons of cargo. (www.1856.com). If you ever have a chance to go, do not pass it up! The items on display will surpass anything you have ever seen! The amount of cargo the ship held is mind blowing, and will give you a new look into the nineteenth century.
Pictures from the excursion coming!
