Wedding Bells

No, not me! I already got hitched this year! However, this time the bells were rung for my wonderful cousin!! She was a gorgeous bride!! The wedding was simple, but beautiful. The church was decorated with white candles, and blue and yellow flowers- so pretty!!

I had the honor of making all the bouquets for wedding, including the Brides, which I made a few hours before the wedding while my hair was setting!
The day was beautiful and I'm sure she would not have wanted it anyother way!

I wish them a long and happy life together!!

Catching Up

So, here it is, 3 weeks after the wedding. We are slowly settleing into married life, unpacking and putting things away. I've been running behind on almost everything, or so it feels like. Life has jumped into full speed and we are tagging behind it.

Anyway, my hopeful spirit has big plans for our little apartment. I also have big plans for a long sewing list, but getting the room in order is a must before the sewing list can be completed, however I'm sure that it will never actually be completed.

So, this was a mindless rant, but its complete with another moment from our wedding, and one of my favorite pictures!

Mrs. Brantley

Well its official, and has been for a little over 2 weeks now, but with a fabulous trip to Williamsburg and getting back to work, unpacking, and starting a new Regency wardrobe, I've had little time to comment on here, my dearly missed blog! So, for those of you who watch here are a few memories of our special day!

Close calls

There are days in our life that we never forget, today was one of those days. During my wedding shower there was serious weather, half way through the middle of it there were warnings of 100mph winds. After getting everyone to a safe place in the hallway a funnel cloud was spotted across the road. Everyone got down in the hall way with the doors shut, the funnel touched down across the street, only a few yards away. Just up the road it uprooted trees, demolished houses and ripped down power lines. Luckily, everyone was ok. The church we were in had no damage. Mircales happen everyday, today was just another blessing. Prayers are with all of those whose homes were damaged and destryed, as well as with their family members and the emergency crews working to get these people safe.

Captured Memory

I am so happy that I have a picture of this moment! My face tells all, I was crying, but I was overjoyed. Taylor was also crying, you can see his red eyes. My parents are also in the picture, Mom about to cry, and Dad smiling. Sometimes I can't stop staring at this image, remebering every moment of what happened, and still getting tears in my eyes.

It's official

IM ENGAGED!!!! My dear sweet Taylor asked me to marry him this Saturday at the church egg hunt. I knew that at some point he would ask the question, but not then and there, but it was amazing. He told me that the past 4 years had been the most wonderful in his life and that he wanted to spend the rest of them with me, then got on his knee with the ring and asked me to marry him. Through my tears I said yes!! It was amazing. The ring had been his grandmothers, and its beautiful!! It will be at least a year before we get married, but until then lots of planning to happen, after graduation of course!!! It was so nice to Celebrate Easter with my fiance today!!

My gorgeous ring!!
